Everyone is welcome to attend the opening of the Repair Café on Sunday, November 30 2025, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 op.m.
Come along, bring your broken items (small electric appliances, computers, bikes, cloths/curtains) or just your curiosity—together we will make it a great start!

We are 22 volunteers from all over the world – from Turkey to India, from Moldova to Cuba – and together we form Repair Café Meerhoven. Just like our neighborhood, we are colorful and diverse, with ages ranging from 25 to 75. Young and old work together here, each with their own talents and experience.
The initiative began with Jacco, who, after years in the hotel industry, applied his passion for connecting and organizing to the neighborhood. Since then, the Repair Café has grown into a place where things and people get a second chance.
